Two Door County, Wisconsin non-profit performing arts organizations partner to perform a Music for Food concert. Birch Creek's Executive Director Mona Christensen, flute, and Midsummer's Music's Executive Director Allyson Fleck, viola, will perform classical and popular duets. We ask that you bring a food item or make a monetary donation to our partnering pantry, the Door County Food Pantry Coalition. Please make checks out to Music for Food.

The need to address hunger insecurity has never been as great and the statistics are shocking. 1 in 7 people nationwide is food insecure. That means every sixth person you see walking in the city might be the one who is not sure if they or their children will partake in an evening meal. Music for Food exists because of the goodwill and faith the artists show, and because of the love, you show to those in need.
